The American School of Barcelona is an international private school from PK3 to 12th Grade. ASB offers a university preparatory curriculum, including the IB Diploma Program, which provides its graduates access to American, Spanish and International universities.
24-11-2014 The ASB Speech, Debate and Acting team traveled to Dusseldorf on November 20-23 to participate in the New European Speech, Debate and Acting Association´s (NESDA) fall tournament. They competed against students from eight other European schools in five events: Original Oratory, Impromptu Speaking, Debate, Interpretation of Literature and Duet Acting. All of our students turned in worthy performances. Some highlights include Alexia Benchimol taking the silver medal in Original Oratory out of 41 competitors. 18-11-2014 This past week our teams competed in the European Sports Conference (ESC) tournaments against other international schools. The girls volleyball team played in Stuttgart, the boys soccer team in Milan and the girls soccer team in Berlin. The teams represented ASB very well, demonstrating school spirit, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence. We are very proud of all our teams! 21-10-2014 We had the pleasure of having Bob Love, a former NBA Chicago Bulls Star who overcame a severe stuttering disability, speak to our Middle and High School students at ASB this morning. Mr. Love currently serves as Goodwill Ambassador, representing the organization at various functions around the world.The secondary students loved his motivational speech about how he overcame a disability and made his dream come true.
